About the role
At Alsys you'll work on robotic systems deployed in labs worldwide for agriculture, mining and oleochemistry. As a Robotics Engineer you're responsible for the design, build and integration of mechatronic subsystems — from pipetting units to autonomous transport modules. You'll work in a tight-knit team of mechanical engineers, software engineers and analytical chemists.
What you'll do
- Design mechatronic subsystems in SolidWorks or similar CAD software
- Select and integrate servos, encoders and sensors
- Author technical specs and test protocols
- Work with software engineers on the control architecture
- Guide prototypes from concept to production
- Document design decisions and solutions
What we ask of you
- HBO/WO Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
- 3+ years of experience with robotics or automated product lines
- Experience with CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or Inventor)
- Working knowledge of industrial control (PLC, EtherCAT or similar)
- Good command of Dutch and English
Nice to have
- Experience with laboratory equipment or analytical chemistry
- Knowledge of ROS or similar robotics frameworks
- Affinity with rapid prototyping (3D printing, laser cutting)
