About the role
Our customers bring samples; our robots bring answers. As an R&D Analytical Chemist you are the link between customer protocol and machine: you validate new analytical methods, optimise workflows and put together customer-specific configurations. You work both in our application lab in Amsterdam and on site with customers.
What you'll do
- Developing and validating analytical methods for robot platforms
- Translating customer protocols into reproducible workflows
- Carrying out method validation to ISO 17025
- Documenting SOPs and preparing customer training
- Working with engineering on new product features
- Visiting customers for on-site optimisation (≈10% travel)
What we ask of you
- A master's in Chemistry, Bioanalysis or similar
- 3+ years' experience in an analytical laboratory
- Experience with ICP-OES, XRF, GC or HPLC
- Affinity with automation and data analysis
- Fluent English — Dutch is a plus
Nice to have
- Experience in agriculture, mining or oleochemistry
- Basic Python for data processing
- Experience with LIMS systems
